1. Research
Our Research vertical focuses on deep analytical work, long-form publications, and structured assessments of evolving conflict landscapes.
2. Intelligence Gathering & Analysis
This vertical focuses on real-time monitoring, structured intelligence assessments, and geopolitical tracking.

Track and analyse ongoing developments in assigned regions
Produce concise intelligence briefs and situation reports
Identify emerging patterns, risks, and strategic shifts
Contribute to CNAWS intelligence datasets and visualizations
Who Should Apply?
Candidate Profile
Have a background or strong interest in international relations, defence, security, or technology
Possess strong analytical and writing skills
Can work with open-source intelligence (OSINT) and structured data
Are self-driven, consistent, and detail-oriented
Students, early professionals, and independent researchers are all encouraged to apply.
Internship Benefits
The CNAWS internship is designed to offer meaningful exposure to real-world research and intelligence work in emerging warfare domains. Interns will gain hands-on experience in analysis, writing, and structured assessments, along with opportunities to contribute to published outputs and strategic projects.
A certificate of internship completion will be provided.
Please note that the first two months of the internship will be unpaid. Based on performance, consistency, and overall contribution, the internship may be converted into a paid role at the discretion of CNAWS leadership.
High-performing, serious, and committed candidates will also be considered for long-term or permanent positions as CNAWS continues to expand its operations.
All decisions regarding evaluation, stipend conversion, certification, and role progression will rest solely with CNAWS leadership and will be final.
